Description
Los Angeles World Airports (LAWA) is issuing this Request for Proposal (RFP) to solicit proposals from qualified firms (Proposer) to enter into lease for a non-Fixed Base Operator (non-FBO) general aviation facility located at 7150 Hayvenhurst Avenue (Property) at Van Nuys Airport (VNY). It is anticipated that the Property will be available for occupancy within 90 days after approval by the Board of Airport Commissioners (Board) and the City Council (Council) for the lease award.
The Property (as shown in Exhibit 2) consists of approximately 117,612 square feet (or 2.7 acres) of general aviation land with 25,120 square feet of combined hangar and office space. The Property has access to the airport’s runway/taxiway system, which currently facilitates efficient operation and storage of general aviation aircraft. It is currently under a month-to-month subtenancy with Nick Mosich, dba Southwest Aviation.
