Summary

The County of DeKalb, GA (the "County"), is soliciting sealed Bids for Consent Decree Trunks - Shoal Creek Section 1 . Bids are to be submitted via the County's eProcurement Portal via https://procurement.opengov.com/portal/dekalbcountyga PRIOR TO 3:00 pm on Tuesday, September 16, 2025 . Late Bids will not be accepted.

Project work includes but is not limited to the construction of a new 72-inch trunk gravity sewer and appurtenances to replace the existing 36- to 60-inch gravity sewer, with full switchover and abandonment of the existing line. Includes trenchless GDOT crossings, manholes, cleanouts, and bypass pumping.

Background

The Shoal Creek Trunk Sewer is part of DeKalb County's sewer collection infrastructure and conveys sewer from residents, businesses, and industries to the Snapfinger Creek Advanced Wastewater Treatment Facility (AWTF). The project is a part of the county's $2.4 billion capital improvement plan to improve its water and wastewater infrastructure. Once completed, the Shoal Creek Trunk Sewer Improvement Project will provide much needed capacity to accommodate future growth and enhance the environmental resilience of the county's infrastructure.
