CNC Fiber Laser Cutter

Project Description: The University of Texas at Austin (“University”) on behalf of the Physics Department requests bids in response to this Invitation to Bid no. 721-27014 (“ITB”) from qualified and experienced vendors (“Bidders”) for services, which are more specifically described in the Scope of Work (“SOW”), include (but may not be limited to):
- one new CNC fiber laser cutting system for precision fabrication of carbon-steel, stainless-steel, and aluminum research components. The Contractor shall provide a complete, safe, operational system including the machine, laser source, head, controller, chiller, compressed-air package, fume extraction, delivery, rigging, installation, startup, calibration, functional and safety verification, training, documentation, warranty, maintenance information, and support.
