Purpose of Procurement
Pursuant to the State Purchasing Act (Official Code of Georgia Annotated 50-5-50 et seq.), this electronic Request for Proposals (eRFP) is being issued to establish a contract with a qualified supplier who will provide Comprehensive Systemwide Dining Management & Catering Services to the Board of Regents of the University System of Georgia (the State Entity) and participating campuses, as further described in this eRFP.
The University System of Georgia (USG) is soliciting proposals from qualified suppliers to provide comprehensive Dining Management Services for multiple institutions across the state. This procurement will establish a single, systemwide enabling contract to support residential dining, retail operations, catering, and related food service programs. The selected supplier will partner with participating institutions to deliver high-quality, innovative, and operationally sound dining services that enhance the overall student experience, support recruitment and retention, and align with institutional goals.
This opportunity represents a significant, multi-campus engagement across a diverse portfolio of institutions varying in size, service model, and geographic location. The awarded supplier will have the opportunity to expand services throughout the contract term as additional institutions elect to participate. USG seeks a strategic partner capable of delivering scalable solutions, operational excellence, and continuous program improvement, while maintaining compliance with all regulatory, safety, and institutional requirements.
