Department Of Agriculture - Pesticide Residue Lab & State Chemical Lab - HVAC Inspection

The Alabama Department Of Agriculture and Industries is seeking quotes to perform quarterly and annual inspections on Daikin and Armstrong HVAC equipment, and Square D Speed Drive Control Panels located at the Pesticide Residue Laboratory and State Chemical Laboratory located at 1171 Wire Road, Auburn, AL 36832.

Scope Of Service: Quarterly and Annual Inspections Of Daikin and Armstrong HVAC Equipment, and Square D Speed Drive Control Panels

Equipment:

2 – Chillers, Manufacturer: Daikin, Model Number: AGZ13EDSDMNNOB
2 – Air Handlers, Manufacturer: Daikin, Model Number: V4C9A-L4M
2 – Square D Speed Drive Control Panels, Model Number: SFD212GG4Y

Note: Supplier must be certified to work on Daikin and Armstrong HVAC equipment, and Square D Speed Drive Control Panels.  The Alabama Department Of Agriculture and Industries reserves the right to request documentation stating Supplier is certified to work on Daikin and Armstrong HVAC equipment, and Square D Speed Drive Control Panels.

Supplier will perform the following tasks for three (3) quarters:

(1) Unitary Visual Equipment Inspection
(2) Supply Fan and Motor Inspection
(3) Generic Check Delta T
(4) Log Unit (NTP Air Handler)
(5) Condenser Coil Check
(6) Condenser Physical Fan Check
(7) Electrical Inspection
(8) Log unit (NTP Cooling)
(9) Check Output Temperature
(10) Filter Inspection (Supplier Will Notify Agency If Filter(s) Are Dirty)
(11) Supplier Will Provide Performance Report

Supplier will perform the following tasks annually:

(1) Unitary Visual Equipment Inspection
(2) Leak Test Inspection
(3) Condenser Coil Check
(4) Coil Cleaning With Solution
(5) Electrical Inspection
(6) Log unit (NTP Cooling)
(7) Filter Inspection (Supplier Will Notify Agency If Filter(s) Are Dirty)
(8) Supplier Will Provide Performance Report

Note To Supplier: Model/Part Number and Descriptive Literature

The brands and model numbers referenced provide a level of quality, and unless otherwise specified, are not restrictive. Suppliers quoting alternate items must provide a complete model/part number as well as descriptive/technical literature for consideration and evaluation with their quote. Reference to literature with a previous solicitation will not satisfy this requirement.  Failure to provide the required literature may result in the rejection of the supplier’s response.
