Sealed proposals will be received by County of Wake in the Procurement Services, in Suite 2900, Wake

County Justice Center, 301 S. McDowell Street, Raleigh, NC 27601 for providing labor, material, and

equipment entering into a Single Prime Electrical Work Contract for the Marbles Kids Museum/IMAX

Theater Solar PV System (RFB No. 25-117).

Sealed Single Prime bids will be received until 2:00 p.m. on February 19, 2026, and publicly opened

and read starting at 2:00 p.m.

The general scope is as follows:

 Provide approximately 160kW AC max., 162kW DC PV System on the roof of Marbles Kids

Museum.

 Provide approximately 90kW AC max., 105kW DC PV System on the roof of IMAX Theater.

A Mandatory Pre-bid Conference will be held at 11:00 a.m. local prevailing time on February 10, 2026.

Contractors are to meet in the IMAX Theater Lobby, located at 201 East Hargett Street, Raleigh, NC.

All Contractors are to be present.

The following Contractors attended the January 6, 2026, mandatory pre-bid conference and are not

required to attend the February 10, 2026, mandatory pre-bid conference:

Notice of Public Meeting for Proposed Alternate Bids for Preferred Product.

An open public meeting will be held on February 10, 2026, at 11:00 a.m., following the Pre-Bid. The

meeting is to identify preferred brand alternates and their performance standards pertinent to this project.

In accordance with GS133-3, the following preferred brand item is being considered as an Alternate by the

Owner for this project:

 Preferred Brand Add Alternate No. 1: Solar Photovoltaic Equipment – Provide the Owner’s

preferred alternate for all solar photovoltaic equipment and start-up services, including but not

limited to: power optimizers, combiners, and inverters with SolarEdge Technologies, Inc. being

the Owner’s preferred manufacturer.
