Description

This is an invitation to submit tenders for the supply of labor, materials, and equipment to construct cycling infrastructure improvements including cyclist routes, multi-use pathways, sidewalks, curb extensions, traffic signal and signage upgrades/modifications, speed and stop controls, roundabout, pedestrian and cyclist crossings, speed humps and cushions, pavement markings, conflict paint, Calgary curbs, rectangular rapid flashing beacons (RRFBs), bollards, etc. Additionally, optional work includes the replacement of approximately 80 lineal meters of 200mm storm mainline and 80 lineal meters of 200mm sanitary mainline including services, catchbasins, leads, inspection chambers, restoration, etc.

The project will span approximately 4.5 km in length and include two bikeways: the 2.8 km Henderson Road Cycling Facility and the 1.7 km Haultain-Estevan Cycling Facility.
