Progressive Design-Build Services for Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department Animal Care and Control Adoption Facility

Project Description: The City of Charlotte is seeking Progressive Design-Build services to design and construct the Charlotte Mecklenburg Police Department Animal Care and Control Adoption Facility. The facility will be Owned and operated by Charlotte – Mecklenburg Police Department and will serve residents located in the Mecklenburg County, NC area. The Animal Care and Control Adoption Facility will be a Single story +/- 43,500 sf Pre-engineered metal building (PEMB). The facility will be located at 5400 S. Tryon St, Charlotte, NC. The facility will comprise office space (approx. 11,300sf) including large lobby, meet& greet rooms, conference rooms, breakrooms etc.; and animal housing (approx. 32,200) including minimum 100 kennels, food prep rooms, clean rooms, laundry, restrooms, and sally port etc.
