Request for Proposal to Design-Build Services for Living Shoreline Bank Stabilization Project

The City of Brunswick is soliciting proposals for a design-build project to develop a living shoreline along a section of tidal ditch at Howard Coffin Park. The selected contractor will provide a comprehensive design, acquire necessary permits, and construct the living shoreline to stabilize the bank, enhance natural habitat, and improve resilience to coastal erosion. The project should integrate a combination of physical armoring, such as rip rap or flexamat, and natural elements, including vegetative plantings and/or oyster shells, to create a balanced and sustainable solution.
