TransLink intends to solicit competitive proposals for [RFP] SCOT Architecture Development Services for STARS.
Project Summary:
SkyTrain Customer and Operations Telecommunications (SCOT) is software enabled physical system which is planned to change its interface from legacy radio to SkyTrain Advanced Radio System (STARS) (future SkyTrain radio system). While STARS radio is being upgraded by a separate project, there is a need for SCOT to develop an appropriate solution to achieve a seamless transition.
Through this Request for Proposal (RFP), TransLink seeks competitive proposals for systems architecture services to lead early design for SCOT system. The early design phase is a critical transformational phase for SCOT project where TransLink aims to achieve key objectives:

Perform early design to support enhanced mission capability SCOT system.

Develop interface design for seamless transition to new-generation wireless radio (STARS).
