Clean Energy Engineering and Consulting Services

Organized under the County Executive's Office, the Project Development Unit (PDU) provides construction services for all new ground-up capital construction projects for the County of San Mateo properties. In addition to managing the construction phases of each project, the PDU presides over the development of all concepts, programming, procurement, and designs. The County’s focus on quality construction, sustainable building and zero net energy are hallmarks of each project.

As outlined in more detail in Section II – Scope of Work below, this Request for Proposal (RFP) is seeking submissions from highly qualified Clean Energy Engeering and Consulting firms to provide on-call Energy Consulting Services. The selected firms, including their selected subconsultants, will provide services on numerous ground up and ongoing construction projects within the PDU. Proposers must be able to show that they can perform the services requested. Such documents should include, but is not limited to, the respondent’s demonstrated competency and experience in delivering services of a similar scope and type and local availability of the proposer’s personnel and equipment resources.
