TO ALL BIDDERS:
This addendum shall modify the Contract Drawings and Specifications as herein noted and delineated.
The Contractor shall so note the changes and modify the bid proposal accordingly. This addendum shall, in total,
be added to the Contract Documents for the above referenced project.
Item #1 RFI Question:
• It was mentioned at the prebid that the roof is relatively new and under warranty. Can you please
provide the type of roof and the warranty information?
RFI Answer:
The existing TPO roof is under warranty with Versico Roofing Systems.
Item #2 RFI Question:
• Spec Section 263213.16, 2.2.A. calls for Seismic certification. Seismic is typically not required for this
geographical area. Please advise if seismic is required
RFI Answer:
Seismic is not required for this project.
Item #3 RFI Question:
• Spec Section 263213.16, 2.4.F. lists multiple silencer types. Please confirm the standard factory silencer
provided with the sound enclosure will be acceptable. Overall sound enclosure rating will be approx.
63dBA at 23 feet.
RFI Answer:
This is acceptable.
Item #4 RFI Question:
• Spec Section 263213.16, 2.7.B. lists several breaker types. Please advise what section is applicable.
RFI Answer:
Main line circuit breaker shall be a molded case circuit breaker. Trip may be thermal-magnetic or electronic.
Coordinate with Vendor.

Item #5 RFI Question:
• Spec Section 263213.16, 2.9.A.2. calls for “walk-in” type enclosure. Please advise if standard factory
sound enclosure is sufficient on this project.
RFI Answer:
This is sufficient.
Item #6 RFI Question:
• Spec Section 263213.16, 2.9.E/F/I/J/K. calls for enclosure accessories – space heater, lights, outlets,
and automatic dampers. If standard factory enclosure is acceptable, this size GEN enclosure does come
with these options and nor does it have space to accommodate these accessories. Please advise if
these can be omitted.
RFI Answer:
These requirements are for a walk-in enclosure and are not required for this project.
