156th CES - Rpr Overhead Rolling Doors on Bldgs. 6 & 14

The 156th Contracting Office will award a contract resulting from this Request for Quote (RFQ) to the responsible offeror whose offer conforms to the RFQ and will be most advantageous to the Government. This is a combined synopsis solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a separate written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is issued as a request for Quote (RFQ) competed IAW FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures and FAR Part 12, Commercial Items. Quotes failing to meet all the terms and conditions of this solicitation; to include buy terms, line-item descriptions, and attachments, may not be evaluated for award. One (1) firm-fixed price (FFP) contract will be awarded as a result of this solicitation. Any reference to the term “BID” in this solicitation is used synonymously with the word “QUOTE”. Please see FAR 13.004-Legal effect of quotations. Only new items are accepted, no remanufactured, or refurbished equipment. All items must be covered by the manufacturer’s warranty.

The 156th Wing Contracting Office of the Puerto Rico Air National Guard intends to utilize this Request for Quote (RFQ), to obtain offers to Repair Overhead Rollup Doors at Buildings 6 and 14 located in Muñiz ANG Base, Carolina, PR. The Government intends to select one contractor. The responses to this RFQ are intended to be evaluated, and award made, without discussions unless discussions are deemed to be necessary. Since award will be based on initial responses, quoters are highly encouraged to quote their most advantageous pricing in their initial response. This requirement is being solicited 100% small business set-aside. The NAICS code for this acquisition is 238290 and the Small Business size standard is $22,000,000. All prospective offerors must have a Commercial and Government Entity (CAGE) code or a Unique Entity Identifier (UEI) and be registered with System for Award Management(SAM) at http://www.sam.gov.

Basis of award: Price only. Award will be made to the lowest priced quote that fulfills all the government specifications described in this solicitation, outlined in the PWS and any other attachment. The Government intends to award a Contract without discussions with respective offerors. Quotes that fail to meet the government’s schedule and ALL described specifications will be deemed unacceptable and disqualified from competition. Award will be made without discussions unless discussions are deemed to be necessary. Since award will be based on initial responses, quoters are highly encouraged to quote their most advantageous pricing in their initial response.

A site visit will be conducted on July 29th, 2025 at 10:00AM. It is highly recommended that you arrive at least an hour before the site visit is slated to commence, to enable Security Forces personnel to process your entry in a timely fashion.
