TENDER FOR CONTRACT WASTE TRANSFER HAULING 2026 - 2029

Beaver River Regional Waste Management Commission (BRRWMC) is inviting all interested parties to submit tenders to haul solid waste from the Bonnyville, Cold Lake and M.D. of Bonnyville Waste Transfer Stations to one of three Landfills that are approved to handle waste from the area.

Specifically the waste will be hauled to one of the following locations:

1. Waste Management Canada Corp. - Landfill located at/near Thorhild, Alberta.
2. Claystone Waste Ltd. – Landfill located at/near Ryley, Alberta
3. Evergreen Regional Landfill – Located 1 mile East of Lafond, Alberta

The haul will coincide with the hours of operation of the Transfer Stations and the Receiving Landfill.

The Beaver River Regional Waste Management Commission reserves the right to accept or reject any or all tenders and waive all tendering procedures.

The approximate location of the work and the quantities to be loaded and hauled are outlined in the specifications.

A Bid Bond, valid for sixty (60) days, Letter of Credit or Certified Cheque in the amount of 10% of the Contract value (Total value over the three years to haul to the Thorhild (Schedule “A”) must accompany the tender. The Bid Bond, Letter of Credit or Certified Cheque will be returned to all unsuccessful tenders no later than sixty (60) days following the closing of this Tender.

A Bid Bond, Certified Cheque or an Irrevocable Letter of Credit payable to Beaver River Regional Waste Management Commission (on some Canadian Bank) for 10% of the Contract value (Total value over the three years to haul to the Thorhild (Schedule “A”) and must be submitted with the tender.

Omission of the Bid Bond, Certified Cheque or Irrevocable Letter of Credit will invalidate the bid and will cause rejection.
