Project Description: A mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held on October 6, 2025, at 9:00 a.m. at the South Whitehall Township Municipal Building located at 4444 Walbert Avenue, Allentown, PA 18104. Attendance at the pre-bid meeting is mandatory for a bid to be considered.
Online sealed bids shall be submitted via the PennBid Program until 10:00 a.m. on October 23, 2025. Paper bids will not be accepted. All documents and solicitation details are available online at no cost except for any fees that the successful bidder may be responsible for paying directly to PennBid – https://pennbid.bonfirehub.com.
On October 23, 2025 at 10:00 a.m., South Whitehall Township will receive the sealed bids and open them online, with results being made public via PennBid.
A bid security in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the bid price shall be submitted with the bid. A performance bond of one hundred percent (100%) shall be submitted within ten (10) days from the date a bid has been accepted.
Funding for this project is provided by the Commonwealth of PA, Dept. of Transportation ARLE Grant contract #C920003073. All work provided by the contractor awarded will be in compliance with the grant requirements included in the bid specifications.
This project is subject to Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act and the prevailing wage rates are incorporated in the bid documents.
