Notice is hereby given by First Nations Health Authority, of its intent to directly award an agreement with the following supplier to provide Work Alone Monitoring Support via BC Safety Link DBA Gitxsan Safety Services
BC Safety Link DBA Gitxsan Safety Services
Located in: South Hazelton, BC
FNHA intends to directly award a contract to BC Safety Link DBA Gitxsan Safety Services for the following services of up to 3 years starting January 01, 2025 with a possibility of extension for another 24 months.
Services:
The Contractor shall provide the following services:
a) Monthly Monitoring and Service Fees through:
a. the WorkAlone™ Program
• Ability to connect via inReach, SPOT, SafetyLink App or Pendant;
• Unlimited Use of Program;
• 24/7 Live Monitoring; and
• Aware360 Mapping Portal.
b. Live Agent Support:
• Agent time used for manual booking of check-ins and check-outs; and
• Responding to missed check-ins and alerts.
b) Satellite support.
c) Management and setup support including activation and program management.
d) Provision of Bivy Stick to support program.
e) Monitor Alerts arising from Devices of End Users.
f) Support the Fnha’s users upon reception of an alert.
g) Such other activities and services as may be reasonably required by the FNHA from time. to time to fulfill the purposes of this Agreement.
Deliverables:
The Contractor shall provide the following deliverables:
a) Bivy Sticks;
b) Belle X devices
c) SOS Safety Bands
d) Missed check-in procedures (created in consultation with the OHS team at FNHA);
e) Monthly Reporting of usage; and
f) Such other deliverables as may be reasonably required by the FNHA from time to time to fulfill the purposes of this Agreement.

Vendors who wish to challenge this decision should submit a detailed written objection to the attention of Zoe Zhou, by email to FNHA.contracts@fnha.ca before 4:00pm Pacific Time, November 15, 2024 . The First Nations Health Authority will review any and all issues received by this date and provide due consideration.
