Pre-Bid Meeting | This project will conduct a non-mandatory pre-bid meeting at Carson City Public Works. 3505 Butti Way, Carson City, NV on Tuesday, February 25, 2025 at 2:00 PM. DBE | There are no Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE)/Small Business Enterprise (SBE) program goals for this procurement. However, the City, in accordance with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and Title 49 Code of Federal Regulations Part 26, hereby notifies all bidders and proposers that it shall affirmatively ensure that in regard to any contract entered into, certified DBE/SBE firms shall be afforded full opportunity to submit bids and proposals in response to our invitation and shall not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, age, disability or national origin in consideration for an award. Although there is no contract-specific goal associated, the City encourages bidders to make the same effort to ensure nondiscrimination in the award and administration of subcontracts, to help remove barriers to the participation of DBEs/SBEs, and to assist in the development of firms that can compete successfully in the marketplace outside the DBE/SBE program.
Summary |
The East William Street Complete Streets Project includes various streetscape, utility, and traffic upgrades on William Street between Carson Street to the west and I580 to the east. Municipal water, sewer, and storm drain pipes are proposed to be replaced and/or extended. Sidewalk, curb ramps, and pathways are to be reconstructed. Signalized intersections are to be upgraded. Street beautification through addition of landscaping and furnishings is also proposed.
Sealed bids must be submitted in accordance with the bid documents, drawings and plans, specifications and special conditions related
hereto.
Carson City is finalizing right of occupancy for three parcels which are not currently obtained. The anticipated date for obtaining right of occupancy is April 1, 2025. The outstanding parcels are assessor’s parcel numbers 002-154-03, 002-171-10, and 002-123-07. |
