BITP Mixed Liquor Channel Refurbishment

Project Description: This project consists of replacement of eight existing weir gates within the mixed liquor distribution box, replacement of the mixed liquor channel drain gate, and removal of the primary effluent diversion gate. Additional elements include evaluation and repair of deteriorated concrete surfaces within the mixed liquor channel, extension of channel aeration air within the mixed liquor distribution box, and installation of a walkable cover and handrail system over the primary effluent side of the diversion structure to improve operational access and safety.
The engineer's estimate is $1,655,000 - $2,115,000 including sales tax.
