23 Mile Water Main Valve Installation
The Charter Township of Chesterfield, the OWNER, is requesting Bids for the construction of the following
Project:
23 Mile Water Main Valve Installation
RFP-2026-DPS-117
Bids for the construction of the Project will be received at the Charter Township of Chesterfield, Office of
the Township Clerk located at 47275 Sugarbush Road, Chesterfield, MI 48047, until Tuesday, July 21,
2026, at 10:00 am local time. No bids will be received after that time. Bids received will be publicly opened
and read aloud at that time and place.
This project consists of replacement of intermittent valves along 4 miles of existing 20-inch and 24-inch
ductile iron water main along 23 Mile Road and Chesterfield Road. The project also includes removal and
replacement of pavement and curb and gutter.

Bid security shall be furnished in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. Bid security in the form of a
Bid Bond for a sum no less than five percent (5%) of the amount of the Bid will be required with each Bid.
Bids shall be enclosed in sealed envelopes plainly marked with the project name and the name of the
bidder.
No bid may be withdrawn for a period of ninety (90) calendar days after the scheduled closing time for
receipt of the Bids. The Owner reserves the right to accept any Bid, reject any Bid, or waive irregularities in
Bids.
A pre-bid conference will not be held for this project.
