Description
Environment and Climate Change Canada has a requirement for the supply of DMA Analyzer for the mercury research laboratory in ARQP The requirement must include all of the following:
M1 The DMA must have an autosampler capable of holding at least 40 samples and delivering those samplers in an automated way to the thermal decomposition oven.
M2 The DMA must have dual cells providing a working range of 0.01 to 1500ng
M3 The DMA must have a limit of detection of 0.001 ng or less
M4 The DMA must include the following spare parts: amalgamation trap, thermal decomposition oven, catalyst
M5 The DMA must have a precision of less than or equal to 1% at 5ng
M6 The DMA analyzer must have a Microsoft Windows based software system
M7 The DMA must be delivered with a computer capable of running the software and analyzer
M8 The DMA must have a programmable oven, so that oven ramp time and temperatures can be set according to our needs
M9 The DMA must use a double beam system on the optical bench
M10 The DMA must run on 120V electric power of less than 15A and be provided with a standard North American NEMA 5-15 plug
M11 The DMA must meet Canadian Standards Association (CSA) electrical safety standards
M12 The DMA must be able to meet EPA 7473
M13 The DMA must be capable of analyzing samples up to 1 gram
M14 Standard soil samples must not require any additional preparation or reagents
The estimated contract period will be 5 month(s), with a proposed start date of 2025/11/01.
