Solicitation Description:

TxDOT’s Environmental Affairs Division is solicitingproposals for five indefinite deliverable contracts for the archeologicalgeneral services. Services include archeological related services to fulfillTxDOT’s requirements for transportation activities under federal and statestatutes as set forth in a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between the TexasHistorical Commission (THC) and TxDOT, and a Programmatic Agreement among theFederal Highway Administration, the Texas Department of Transportation, the TexasState Historic Preservation Officer and the Advisory Council on HistoricPreservation Regarding the Implementation of Transportation Undertakings.Services may include: Antiquities Permit Procurements, Test ExcavationFieldwork, Data Recovery Fieldwork, Cemetery Investigation, Burial Exhumation,Analytical Unit Definition, Research Design, Digital Records Preparation,Curation Preparation, all required reporting and other archeological services.
