Needed Service: Hocking Hills State Park- Winter Hike - 10 x 40+ Passenger Bus for January 17, 2026

Specifications:
Hocking Hills State Park requires bus service for Hocking Hills State Park's Annual Winter Hike on January 17, 2026, from 8:00 am until complete but not to exceed 6:00 pm. The park manager will release the buses, one by one, as the crowd at Ash Cave dwindles and as the drivers communicate with each other.
Buses will shuttle hikers between various parts of Hocking Hills State Park hiking trails. See attached Bus Route and map for Bus Route.
Contractor is to provide 10 buses with seating for 40 passengers each. Contractor will provide licensed drivers, radios for bus drivers, and fuel for each bus. Hocking Hills State Park will provide one radio to communicate with park employees.
Contractor will provide 8 buses at 8:00 am, 2 buses at 9:30 am.

Once a contract is awarded, failure of the bidder to have requested a site visit to become familiar with the facility and requirements of the bid will be insufficient reason to support any request to be released from the contract.

Evaluation. The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder as determined by the State.

Contract Award. The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder by low lot total.  Low lot total will be determined by multiplying the unit cost by the estimated usage listed in the bid and then adding each of the totals together to arrive at a total for all items. Failure to bid all items may result in the bidder being deemed not responsive.

The awarded supplier will be required to sign an Addendum to Bid.
