To eliminate the risk of bidder disqualification based on failure to re-submit in response to an Amendment, as required by the new BC Bid rules, BC Hydro has changed its practice as of November 24, 2022, such that all changes to BC Hydro (including Q&As and Addenda) are now treated as “Addenda” (and not “Amendments”) within the BC Bid rules and, as such, no longer require re-submission by the bidder of any already made submission. Please see Addenda instructions for further information.
The above practice change means that changes (including Q&As and Addendas) to BC Hydro opportunities will no longer be posted in the RFx Documents section of this Overview tab.

Interested suppliers should note that BC Bid has upgraded its platform and that registration (or re-registration) in the new platform is necessary in order to respond to any opportunity after May 30, 2022. The project objectives include mitigating and implementing more comprehensive stabilization measures to stabilize the upper half of the slope including a shotcrete/anchor system and drainage after removal of slide debris near near Terzaghi Dam Bridge River 2 Intake Tower. Refer to Appendix D - Scope of Service and Appendix G - Specifications.
Optional site visit scheduled for Wednesday, March 26, 2025, 11:00 a.m., local time. Refer to Notice of Site Visit in Attachment C - Site Visit Notice Protocol.
Estimated start date of the work is June 23, 2025. Delivery or completion date is 4th October, 2025.
This procurement may involve negotiation.
This opportunity is subject to Chapter 5 of the Canadian Free Trade Agreement.
All responses should be in English.
