Project Description: Issuing Procurement Unit: State of Utah Division of Purchasing
Conducting Procurement Unit: State of Utah Division of Forestry, Fire and State Lands
The purpose of this IFB is to enter into a contract to provide: removal invasive vegetation on approximately 103 acres along Coal Creek through and east of Cedar City, UT. Method will include; hand cutting all standing, live, and dead Russian olive and tamarisk; subsequently applying herbicide to cut stumps; and chipping all slash and material from the cut trees. The project area is in Iron County, Utah. (See Attachment B Scope of Work for more details.)
Mandatory Site Visit: None: It is strongly recommended that each potential bidder inspect the site where services are to be performed and to satisfy themselves regarding all general and local conditions that may affect the cost of contract performance, to the extent that the information is reasonably obtainable. In no event shall failure to inspect the site constitute grounds for a claim after contract award.
It is anticipated that this IFB will result in a single contract award to the lowest cost responsive and responsible vendor.
Length of Contract: Must be completed by June 15, 2026.
Vendor must guarantee its pricing through the completion of the project.
