ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS
Sealed Bids for City of Richland 2026-2029 City Streets Mowing will be received by the City of
Richland, MS at City Hall located 380 Scarborough Street, Richland, MS 39218 until 10:00 a.m.
local time on February 27, 2026 at which time the Bids received will be publicly opened and read
aloud.
The Project consists of grass cutting, edging, and weed eating/concrete spraying on various local
streets throughout the City of Richland, including all necessary materials, equipment, and labor.
Bids will be received for a single prime Contract. Bids shall be on a unit price basis. A Bid shall be
received no later than the date and time prescribed and at the place indicated in this advertisement
and shall be enclosed in a plainly marked package with the Project title and the name and address
of Bidder. If a Bid is sent by mail or other delivery system, the sealed envelope containing the Bid
shall be enclosed in a separate package plainly marked on the outside with the notation “BID
ENCLOSED”. A mailed Bid shall be addressed to City of Richland, Mississippi, 380 Scarborough
Street, P.O. Box 180609, Richland, MS 39218. Bids received after the date and time prescribed for
the opening of bids or not submitted at the correct location or in the designated manner, will not
be accepted and will be returned to the Bidder unopened.
All blanks on the Bid Form shall be completed in ink and the Bid Form signed in ink. The Bid shall
contain an acknowledgment of receipt of all Addenda, the numbers of which shall be filled in on
the Bid form. A Bid by a corporation shall be executed in the corporate name by a Corporate officer
(whose title must appear under the signature), accompanied by evidence of authority to sign. A
Bid by a limited liability company shall be executed in the name of the firm by a member or other
authorized person and accompanied by evidence of authority to sign. A Bid by an individual shall
show the Bidder’s name and official address.
Copies of the Plans, Specifications, and other Bidding Documents are on file and open for public
inspection and purchase at the office of the Engineer, Engineering Service, at 115 Aerosmith Drive,
Richland, Mississippi, 39218. Bid Documents may be obtained upon payment of $25 (which is non-
refundable) via cash, check or money order. Credit cards will not be accepted.
Your Bid will be required to be submitted under a condition of irrevocability for a period of 60 days
after submission.
Owner reserves the right to waive irregularities and to accept or reject any or all Bids.
