1.0 Title:
Labrador Marine Communication and Traffic Services (MCTS) Operations Building Janitorial Services
2.0 Location of Work:
Goose Bay Marine Communication Traffic Services

3.0 Facility:
This Fisheries and Oceans Canada (DFO) location was constructed in 1997 and currently houses the Canadian
Coast Guard Labrador Marine Communication Traffic Service Center (MCTS) for the region as well as the
Electronics and Informatics Office. The building is 442 square meters The operating hours are twenty four hours a
day, seven days a week, every day of the calendar year.
4.0 Objective:
The objective is to have a qualified Contractor provide janitorial services and supplies at the Labrador MCTS
Operations facility as described above.
5.0 Scop of Work
The Contractor must provide Janitorial services for areas included in APPENDIX āCā of ANNEX A BUILDING
FLOOR PLAN The Contractor must provide janitorial services as outlined every day of the calendar year unless
otherwise stated.
6.0 Optional Site Visit
It is recommended that the Bidder or a representative of the Bidder visit the work site. Arrangements have
been made for the site visit to be held at 3 Aspen Road, Goose Bay, NL, On November 6th , 2025. Th
site visit will begin at 10 am near front door.
Bidders are requested to communicate with the Contracting Authority no later 4:00p.m. on November
3rd, 2025 to confirm attendance and provide the name(s) of the person(s) who will attend. Bidders may
be requested to sign an attendance sheet. Bidders who do not attend or do not send a representative
will not be given an alternative appointment but they will not be precluded from submitting a bid. Any
clarifications or changes to the bid solicitation resulting from the site visit will be included as an
amendment to the bid solicitation.
The estimated contract period will be 24 month(s), with a proposed start date of 2026/01/01.
