Description
Objective:
The Ecosystem and Oceans Science Sector - Science at Sea program of Fisheries and Oceans Cananda (FOC), requires the Vessel Charter Services of one (1) Contractor to conduct Oceanographic, Hydrographic, Geological and Ecosystemic Surveys and Scientific Research Activities
The objective of this requirement is to seek a global class offshore deep-sea oceanographic science research vessel, captain, crew, and scientific technicians to conduct ocean science and geological surveys across in Atlantic Canadian waters and Eastern Arctic. These include, but are not limited to, surveys in support of Fisheries and Oceans Canada’s Atlantic Zone Monitoring Program (AZMP), FOC’s Atlantic Zone Off-Shelf Monitoring Program (AZOMP), and ocean floor geological surveys.
Location of Work, Work Site, and Delivery Point:
Canadian Atlantic waters, as well as Eastern Arctic – Labrador Sea and Greenland Shelf.
Period of the Contract:
The period of the Contract is from date of Contract to March 31, 2027 inclusive.
Option to Extend the Contract:
The Contractor grants to Canada the irrevocable option to extend the term of the Contract by up to one (1) additional one (1) year period under the same conditions.
The estimated contract period will be 12 month(s), with a proposed start date of 2026/04/01.
