at which time the bids will be publicly open and read in the Office of Procurement. The City of Springfield invites all interested, qualified persons or firms capable of providing the requested services, to submit bids to enter into an agreement to provide modifications to Franconia Golf Course, 619 Dwight Rd, Springfield, MA 01108. This bid falls under M.G.L. Ch. 30§39M and other procurement statutes.
Project includes temporary sediment & erosion controls, earthwork, site preparation & demolition, tree work, bituminous concrete pavement, delegated design and construction of Custom High-Tension Netting System, and landscaping. Estimated value of the contract is approximately $250,000.00. Bid documents can be requested through the City’s website; www.springfieldcityhall.com (during normal business hours) beginning on February 12, 2025.
It is strongly encouraged to attend a site visit on February 18, 2025 at 10:00 AM on site. All questions regarding this bid or its specifications must be made in writing and received by the Office of Procurement no later than February 19, 2025 (nwalker@springfieldcityhall.com) in order to be considered. The City of Springfield supports the goal of twenty percent minority and women (MWBE) participation in all contracts. MA DLS Prevailing Wage rates apply. The Chief Procurement Officer/Designee reserves the right to waive any informality in and to reject any or all bids if it is in the public interest to do so.
