Project Description: Jordan School District (JSD) is seeking statements of qualifications (SOQ) from firms engaged in providing architectural services in the state of Utah. The JSD Board of Education has authorized to procure design services and renovation plans for the auditorium at South Jordan Middle School in South Jordan, Utah.
The auditorium at South Jordan Middle is in need of some upgrades outlined below:
Removal and replacement of current house and theatrical lights
Complete upgrade of existing sound system
Installation of permanent seating on current tiered concrete steps
Design and bidding timeline October 2025 to January 2026
Construction timeline June 2026 to August 2026
The construction budget for this project starts at $1.3 million.
In addition, a second project has been added that will be evaluated along with the previous project. Design services for a complete tear off and re-roof at Elk Ridge Middle School in South Jordan, Utah.
