The purpose of this amendment is to provide vendor questions/answers, Fire Trainer Inspection Report, and an updated PWS. Included as part of this amendment are the following attachments:

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for the Inspection, Maintenance, and Repair of the Aircraft Fire and Structural Fire Training Facilities (AFTF/SFTF) prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested, and a written solicitation will not be issued.
The Request for Quotation (RFQ) number FA462524Q1002 shall be used to reference any written quote provided under this RFQ.
The RFQ document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2025-04; Effective 06/11/2025; Defense Acquisition Circular, effective 01/17/2025; and Air Force Acquisition Circular, effective 10/16/2024.
This is a set-aside for Small Business.
The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this project is 811310 with a size standard of $12.5M.
The purpose of this combined synopsis and solicitations is for the Inspection, Maintenance, and Repair of the Aircraft Fire and Structural Fire Training Facilities (AFTF/SFTF) in accordance with the attached Performance Work Statement (PWS) (Attachment 1). This contract will be a base year plus four option years with the anticipated period of performance listed below. In addition, the Government may further extend the performance period for up to six months under FAR 52.217-8.
The anticipated Period of Performance (PoP) is:
Base Year: 01 October 2025 – 30 September 2026
Option Year One: 01 October 2026 – 30 September 2027
Option Year Two: 01 October 2027 – 30 September 2028
Option Year Three: 01 October 2028 – 30 September 2029
Option Year Four: 01 October 2029 – 30 September 2030
The Service Contract Act applies: Determination # 2015-5089, revision 27 dated 13 May 2025 (Attachment 3)
