Notice of Intent to Award a Noncompetitive, Negotiated Contract for Purchase of 36 Rotary Shock Absorbers Supplied by ITT Enidine, INC.

Project Description: SMART is issuing a Notice of Intent to Award a Negotiated Purchase Order without seeking competition for the purchase of eighteen (18) ITT Enidine Rotary Shock Absorbers (Part # FP24042) and a quantity of eighteen (18) ITT Enidine Rotary Shock Absorbers (Part # FP24353) because it is SMART’s understanding that the only available source to supply these specific parts is directly from ITT Enidine, Inc. itself.
The estimated value of this purchase is $50,000.
SMART is requesting vendors and suppliers review these specific parts and if upon review of this Notice, vendors or suppliers determine that they can legally supply these parts to SMART, SMART requests that those vendors or suppliers submit a response to this Notice of Intent.
Any responses received shall be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement rather than proceeding with this sole-source negotiated contract.
