Electronic Waste Collection and Recycling Services

Annual requirements for Electronic Waste Collection and Recycling in accordance with specifications listed below, effective for the period through December 31, 2027, with option to renew for two (2) additional one year periods.

The selected firm must be approved by the State of CT Department of Energy and Environmental Protection (“DEEP) as a Covered Electronic recycler (“CER”), in accordance with C.G.S. 22a-638-1(b).

Interested firms are required to submit one original copy via digital media of the proposal to Roger Rousseau, Purchasing Agent, no later than the date and time noted herein. Submissions may be made via email, shared file service, or USB drive delivered to the address noted below; the City does not assume responsibility for failure of submissions to be received by the City by the date and time noted above.

The successful bidder shall not discriminate against any employee or applicant for employment because of race, color, religion, gender, or national origin. The Contractor will take affirmative action to ensure that applicants are employed, and that employees are treated during employment without regard to their race, color, religion, gender, or national origin.
