Project Description: The City of West Jordan, on behalf of the Public Works Department (Owner), is requesting bids from qualified suppliers to furnish PG64-28, SP-3/8, 50Nd Fiber Reinforced Asphalt or PG64-34, SP-3/8, 50Nd Fiber Reinforced Asphalt for Class II roads as described below.
1. PG64-28, SP-3/8, 50Nd fiber reinforced asphalt for Class II roads or PG64-34, SP-3/8, 50Nd fiber reinforced asphalt for Class II roads.
2. 2017 APWA Specifications 32 12 03 and 32 12 05.
3. RAP shall not exceed 15 percent by weight.
4. Asphalt content in the mix shall not be less than 5.5 percent, air voids may be as low as 3% if necessary.
5. FORTA FI Fiber reinforcement or ACE XP Polymer Fiber.
