NOTICE OF PUBLIC SALE

Bid #26-019

The Winston County Board of Education will accept sealed bids for the purchase of the following property:

Stainless Steel Table

Minimum Bid Amount is set at: $25.00

Instructions for Bidder: Sealed bids for the above-described property are due Thursday April 2, 2026 at

10:00 am, Central Standard Time, at the office of the Winston County Board of Education, P.O. Box

9 / 25101 Highway 195, Double Springs, Alabama 35553. Bids may be mailed or hand-delivered. Bids

must be in the Board office by the date and time listed above. Late bids WILL NOT be accepted. The Board

has the right to reject any or all bids.

IMPORTANT:

• Bids must be made on the Board’s Bid Submission Form, attached.

• Please clearly mark bid number #26-019 on the outside of your sealed bid envelope. Bids that do

not display the bid number externally and are opened in error will be considered invalid.

• Winning bidder is responsible to arrange pickup within 10 days of board-approval.

Inspection: The public may request an appointment to view the property by calling 205-489-5018,

extension 6723, or by emailing Bart Shannon, CNP Director, at bshannon@wcsclass.com.

Terms of Sale: All property is being sold “As Is – Where Is” and with any and all faults and with no

warranties expressed or implied. Buyers should carefully verify property and bid accordingly. Seller

reserves the right to establish a minimum price, to accept any bid, or to reject any and all bids that the

Seller deems not to be in the best interest of the Seller, or to withdraw the property at any time prior to the

announcement of the completion of the sale.
