Dear Vendors,
BCNET is providing a potential opportunity with early notice on the following forthcoming scheduled project.
Project title: Request For Proposals (“RFP”) for Managed Wi-Fi Services
Estimated Date of Posting: December 03, 2024 or sooner
The opportunity will be posted on BCBid
https://www.bcbid.gov.bc.ca/
and Bonfire portal
https://BCNET.bonfirehub.ca/portal
. During the posting period, please logon Bonfire portal to access the RFP documents.
The intention of the RFP is to select a qualified Proponent for the BCNET Members during the term of the Master Agreement for the provision of the Managed Wi-Fi Services (“Services”) that meets or exceeds the requirements set out in the RFP document. In addition, to identify a qualified Proponent with a strong presence, reputation, and established distribution network at each of the four (4) geographical locations in British Columbia.
This RFP is open to the Proponents who have demonstrated experience and expertise in the Services. Additionally, have capabilities to offer Members Services that can be customized to meet the unique needs of each Member.
This initiative aims to enhance the Wi-Fi services, particularly in expanding areas of campuses, thereby improving the overall Wi-Fi experience and alleviating the burden on Member’s internal IT teams who manage multiple critical responsibilities. The selected Proponent is expected to work closely with BCNET and its Members to set and manage the service standards.
