Description
Construction of Phase 1B Expansion for the Fairview Cemetery, Lacombe.
The Work to be undertaken under the Contract involves:
- Mobilization of equipment and workforce.
- Site demolition, including but not limited to the removal of existing paving stones to be
salvaged and placed on pallets north of the cemetery maintenance shed; topsoil to
be salvaged and placed north of the cemetery maintenance shed, located on site.
- Layout of work.
Site work, including but not limited to stripping and removal of topsoil to be salvaged
and placed on site, north of the cemetery maintenance shed; turf and disposal of
additional surplus material at an approved off-site location (Prentiss Landfill/Transfer
Station NW-07-40-25-W4M), rough grading and finish grading.
- Installation of temporary fencing to protect existing trees and existing graves.
- Site paving, including but not limited to the supply and installation concrete sidewalk
and graver runners.
- Supply and installation of site furnishings including timber posts, section markers,
benches, boulders and memorial stone.
- Landscape work, including but not limited to the supply and installation of topsoil
(supplied by City), granular, trees, shrubs, groundcover, mulch, grass seed and sod.
