Overview
Summary

Prop 411 funded mill and fill project to resurface streets and construct curb access ramps in the C.O.T. Military Plaza neighborhood. The neighborhood is bounded on the west by Stone Avenue, on the east by Toole Avenue, to the north by Broadway Boulevard, and to the south by 18th Street. This project is estimated to have 200 curb access ramps, 12 speed humps and approximately 183,650 SY of mill and fill using 2" of PAG Mix #2 (LV) with PG 76-22TR+ binder

Background

This is a historic neighborhood, and the contractor is directed to be familiar with section 908-3.05 of the special provisions relating to preservation of Historic Concrete Stamps. Contractor is further advised of the potential for the presence of historic trolley tracks within South 4th Avenue. Said tracks are to be preserved in place.
