This market research notice is being conducted by Network Contracting Office (NCO) 17- VA South Texas (VASTHCS) facilities.

The South Texas Veterans Health Care System (STVHCS) has a need of updating the Vocera Communication devices throughout the main hospitals and CBOCS. Upgrade of these units is needed due to the current badges being end of life as well as a need for more badges and newer technology. The facility is requiring the replacement of the current B300N badges with newer badges that have more features and are FIPS compliant. All replacement badges shall be delivered to the COR at the Main hospital.

Description of work:

Contractor shall provide all labor, tools, equipment, transportation, and lodging necessary to complete the badge replacement requirement.
Delivery of hardware shall be to Audie L. Murphy Memorial VA Hospital, 7400 Merton Minter Blvd, San Antonio, TX 78229-4404, Monday through Friday 0700-1600.
After hours or weekend delivery to STVHCS is not permitted.

Contractor requirements
Contractor shall have in depth knowledge of Vocera products and services
Contractor shall have previous experience working or providing hardware within a hospital.
Contractor shall have knowledge of STVHCS Infection Control and Life Safety requirements.
Contractor shall provide own tools, transportation, shipping and equipment required to complete work.
Contractor shall complete all requirements to gain unescorted access including fingerprinting and a background investigation if necessary.

The Contractor shall obtain all necessary licenses and/or permits required to perform the work. In addition, the Contractor shall provide the COR with a copy of any licenses and/or permits obtained.
