Science Fair Award Packages

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items issued by the Air Force ResearchLaboratory/PZLEQ, at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio. This announcement constitutes the only solicitationbeing issued for the requirement described herein.

Request for Quotation (RFQ), number COMBO-AFRL-PZLEQ-2025-0028.

UPDATED WITH QUESTIONS SUBMITTED:

1. Regarding the instructions below, will the plastic bags require customization of the award info? Or do the bags need to be labeled with the award info? No customization or labeling is needed.

2. Since these are COTS items, does the "Buy American Act" apply? No.

3. Will pre-production samples be required or will an electronic proof suffice? Electronic proof will suffice.

4. Does the “1,200 quantity” listed under each item refer to the per-year requirement (i.e., 1,200 units each item for each Option Period), or is it the total maximum contract quantity? Per-year requirement, with 250 packages for base year and then 1,200 for OY1 and then 1,200 for OY2.

5. For the Base Period, should we only provide the number of items needed to build the 250 award packages, or the full 1,200 units of each item upfront? For the Base Period, provide the number of items needed to build the 250 award packages.

6. For payment, should invoices be submitted per delivery (250 packages, then 1,200, then 1,200) on a Net 30 basis? Yes.
