The work includes, but is not limited to: furnishing all labor, materials, equipment and incidentals necessary for the demolition and replacement of the roofs at three critical water pump stations: Gillis (Stoneham), Brattle Court (Arlington) and Newton Street (Brookline). All three roofs were replaced in the 1990s, and all will require membranes, insulation, and flashing, among other things. One roof requires lightning protection; one requires the installation of a new OSHA compliant roof access hatch and safety ladder system; and two roofs require shingles.
