Sealed bids for the Base Bid: CORPORATE FBO TERMINAL BUILDING & PARKING LOT REHABILITATION project at the Middle Georgia Regional Airport, Macon, Georgia, will be received by Macon-Bibb County Procurement Department located at 700 Poplar Street, 3rd floor, Suite 308, Macon, GA 31201, until 12PM EDT on Thursday, December 12, 2024 then publicly opened and read aloud at 2PM EDT on December 12, 2024.

The location of the work is at the Middle Georgia Regional Airport, in Macon, Georgia.

PROJECT DESCRIPTION

The Project generally consists of the construction of a new Fixed-Base Operator (FBO) Building. This Corporate FBO Terminal Building and Parking Lot Rehabilitation project at MCN Airport includes but is not limited to the following scope of work: Parking Lot Rehabilitation: resurfacing of existing pavement, striping, signage, flag poles, relocation of underground piping/utilities, new concrete curb sidewalks, ADA access, landscaping, lighting, and providing a dumpster and can wash. New FBO Building: complete construction of a two-story mass timber structure (8,749 sf First Floor + 9,187 sf Second Floor = 17,936 sf Total) resembling a guitar that includes a porte-cochere extending over parking lot areas, security fencing, access to existing apron, TPO roof, specialty lighting, 15-degree angled glazing system, a structural skylight, and stucco exterior.

A complete set of Bid Documents, consisting of this Notice to Bidders, the General Provisions, Technical Specifications, Bid Forms, Agreement Forms and Contract Drawings, will be available on Tuesday, November 5, 2024, and may be obtained from Passero Associates at www.passero.com under the ‘BID’ tab. There is no cost to download the contract documents, but prospective bidders must sign up as a Plan holder on the Passero Associates website to receive addenda and contract notices.

There will a Non-Mandatory Pre-Bid Conference held on Tuesday, November 12, 2024 at 1:00 P.M. EDT located at the Middle Georgia Regional Airport located at 1000 Terminal Dr., Macon, GA 31297. All questions related to this bid must be submitted in writing to Angela Witt at Passero Associates ( awitt@passero.com ).

Envelopes containing bids must be sealed, addressed to the undersigned, and marked as follows: “Bid for Construction at Middle Georgia Regional Airport, Macon, GA, Corporate FBO Terminal Building & Parking Lot Rehabilitation, PA No. 20202946.010A, Bidders Name and Address”. Submit one original and one electronic copy on USB drive of the Bid Form, Schedules and other required documents. Bids will be required to remain open for acceptance or rejection for ninety (90) calendar days after the date of opening of bids.
