This is a brand name OR equal requirement for a Confocal Point Scanning Microscope.
Salient characteristics include:
Obtain a confocal point scanning system with beam splitters for use in both cell culture research and tissue studies with live and fixed samples. This system includes a highly sensitive, prism-based spectral detection design with computer controlled adjustable bandwidth for all fluorescence detection channels. Up to 2 different laser ports are available, dependent on the configuration, for in coupling of 405 nm and up to 5 visible lasers. In combination with the new Power HyD® S detectors this system allows for maximized detection efficiency for all commonly available fluorophores and allows the application and separation of multiple spectrally overlapping markers, up to five simultaneously. The combination of Field-of-View (FOV) or Tandem scanner (optional) with Dynamic Signal Enhancement and LIGHTNING provide high image quality at full speed and in super-resolution.
