Project Description: The St. Louis Board of Education (d/b/a St. Louis Public Schools) (the “District”) is seeking qualified firms to undertake the renovation of the existing athletic building at Gateway STEM High School, located at 5101 McRee, St. Louis, MO.
This comprehensive renovation will encompass all three levels of the facility—basement, first floor, and second floor—enhancing key areas such as locker rooms, sports training rooms and the gymnasium. Additionally, the currently defunct natatorium will be transformed into a functional, multi-purpose space.
To modernize and optimize the facility, the project includes critical HVAC upgrades to improve heating, cooling, and humidity control throughout the building. Essential infrastructure enhancements will also be implemented, including upgrades to plumbing, electrical, lighting, data, and security systems, ensuring that all renovated areas meet contemporary standards for safety, efficiency, and performance.
