Intent to Sole Source
The Department of Veterans Affairs, NCO 21, intends to award a sole source firm fixed price contract to Siemens Healthineers for Medical Equipment Repair and Maintenance Services of the Skyra MRI instruments and Dimplex Chillers for the United States Department of Veterans Affairs Hospitals in NCO 21. Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements per 41 USC §3304(a)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1. A draft of the performance of work statement is attached. If you believe that your company can provide full maintenance and repair services of this medical equipment in accordance with the draft Statement of Work please provide your information and capability by responding to brock.bell@va.gov no later than April 1, 2026 1:00 p.m. PST referencing the following number in the subject of the email 36C26126Q0184. The applicable NAICS Code is 811210 and the size standard is $34.0M. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. Responses received will be evaluated; however, a determination by the Government not to compete with the proposed procurement based upon responses received to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
Capability Statement
