Lee County General Services Building Expansion bids will be received in person,
via regular mail by U.S. Postal Service, or via special courier service to:

Lee County Finance
115 Chatham St, Suite #301 (3rd floor) in Sanford, North Carolina 27330, until but no
later than, June 16, 2026 at 10am Eastern Standard Time.
Sealed Bids, in accordance with the Bid Documents, will be received prior to
10:00 A.M. June 16, 2026 at 115 Chatham St, Suite #301 (3rd floor) in Sanford, North
Carolina 27330 and then publicly opened and read aloud immediately thereafter. Please note
that two copies of the complete bid package must be submitted. If only one bid package
is submitted, the bid will be rejected. Both bid packages may be in one sealed envelope.
Please note that Digital submissions are not allowed. 10AM official bid time will be recorded by
procurement agent from their cell phone. Any adjustments to the bid written on the outside of
the bid envelope will not be considered. Bids received after the above time shall not be
considered.
Bids received after the announced time and date for submittal, whether by mail or otherwise, will
be rejected. Bidders are responsible for ensuring their Bid is received before the deadline
indicated. Bids submitted by telephone, text message, email, or facsimile shall not be accepted.
The Work generally consists of: An addition that connects to existing building with a prefabricated
canopy. Building project consists of: electrical, plumbing, mechanical, interior and exterior building
construction as well as site work including the addition of a paved parking area.
A non-mandatory Pre-Bid Conference for this project will be held at the project site:
805 S. 5th St, Sanford, NC 27330 at 10:00 A.M. on May 14, 2026, in front of the Lee County
General Services Department building. Inclement weather plan: meet inside of building's
garage.
Beginning May 6, 2026, Bidders may obtain electronic PDF copies of the Project Manual and
Contract Drawings at no charge by visiting www.moseleydesigns.com/bidding/
All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bid Documents or Contract Documents shall be
submitted

Written requests for clarification shall be received by the close of business, 5 P.M.
