Comprehensive Financial Management, Advisory, and Operational Support Services

The Massachusetts Convention Center Authority (“Authority”) is issuing this Request for Proposals (“RFP”) seeking proposals from qualified and responsible firms to provide comprehensive financial management, advisory, and operational support services. The Authority seeks to establish relationships with one or more firms capable of delivering a wide range of financial services on an as-needed basis to supplement internal capacity, provide specialized expertise, and support both ongoing operations and strategic initiatives. The Authority’s objectives for this RFP include the strengthening of financial management and internal controls , enhancing compliance with applicable regulatory and reporting requirements, s upporting strategic financial planning , increasing operational efficiencies through improved processes and systems and providing surge capacity and specialized expertise as needed. All selected firms shall demonstrate proven expertise in comprehensive financial management, advisory, and operational support services. Selected firms shall also demonstrate expertise in providing financial services as described in the Scope of Services below to Massachusetts public authorities and state agencies. This RFP does not require the Authority to contract with any firm. The issuance of any contract under this RFP does not require the Authority to use the services of any firm. The Authority, in its sole discretion, has the right to make no, some, or unlimited requests for services and does not guarantee in any way the amount of services that will be requested of the firm. Individuals performing services for the Authority may be considered “special state employees” subject to the provisions of the Massachusetts Conflict of Interest Law M.G.L. c.268A . The Authority-Consultant Services Agreement, attached hereto and incorporated herein, will require Consultants to certify, among other things, compliance with the Conflict of Interest law. Proposals shall be submitted, in accordance with instructions in this RFP, to the attention of the Authority Procurement Department, not later than 12:00 p.m., August 5, 2026. The Request for Proposals will be available on and after June 8, 2026, from the Authority’s website rfp.massconvention.com. Questions or requests for information, clarification or interpretation of the bidding documents must be submitting in writing to procurement@massconvention.com and must be received not later than 5:00 p.m. on June 30, 2026. |
