TOWN OF GEORGETOWN
INVITATION TO BID, HIGHWAY MATERIALS
The Highway Department of the Town of Georgetown invites bids on the following road materials and services for the year commencing on September 1, 2027. All materials must conform to the latest specifications of the Massachusetts Highway Department.

1. Bituminous concrete type I at plant and in place. Quote per ton. Est. Quantity for FY 2027 is 4,000 tons.

2. Cold patch at plant. High Performance Winter Patch. Quote per ton. Est. Quantity 100 tons.

3. Fiber reinforced crack filling per gallon. Estimated quantity 7,500 gallons.

4. Resurfacing existing sidewalks. Price per ton. Estimated quantity 350 tons.

5. Rehabilitation, Asphalt Pavement.

Specifications for items 1, 3, 4, & 5 may be obtained at the office of the Town Administrator, Town Hall, 1 Library Street, Georgetown, MA 01833, Monday - Thursday, 8:00a.m. - 4:00 p.m., or requested electronically at opacheco@georgetownma.gov .

Sealed bids will be accepted at the office of the Town Administrator, Town Hall, 1 Library Street, Georgetown, MA 01833 until 2.00pm August 10, 2026, at which time all bids will be publicly opened and read. Bids shall be plainly marked: "Bid: Highway Materials."

All bidders submitting bids for Item 1 will be required to produce their "Certificate of Approval Form R-109" from the MassDOT Construction Contracts Office in order to perform services.

The Town of Georgetown reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to accept any bid deemed to be in the best interest of the Town.
