Enterprise Lecture Capture Solution
Description:

Stony Brook University seeks a scalable and flexible enterprise-wide Lecture Capturing System Solution that meets the diverse needs of Stony Brook University instructors and students.
The University expects a robust lecture capturing technology system that allows instructors to stream and/or record their lectures from any location (classroom teacher stations & personal devices). The provided solution must integrate with existing technologies on campus: Single Sign-On authentication and access, D2L Brightspace (learning management system), Crestron (media control systems), and various configurations of classroom teaching stations.

Stony Brook University requires the unlimited, enterprise-wide licensing for all faculty, staff, and students of approximately 38,000 FTE with a single Sign-On. The lecture capturing system should have scalable infrastructure, and be able to accommodate other classroom technology used across the University (i.e. Mersive Solstice, Crestron, Sympodiums, etc.).

The contractor must provide as near to 24/7 up-time (reliability), and the offered system must meet FERPA, HIPAA, and web-accessibility standards appropriate to the Stony Brook University. Over the course of a year, University lecture capturing system needs to be available in 110 rooms, is accessed online by at least 6,000 students a month, and logs between 75,000-90,000 interactions a month. The system is to support over 3 Million views a month. Initial implementation and migration of existing content is required (currently Stony Brook University has 1,680,000 of streamed/downloaded content) as applicable.
