  15. Description: This requirement is for one U.S. or foreign flag, self-sustaining vessel capable of carrying a minimum of 180 TEUs while satisfying all applicable regulatory HAZMAT compatibility and segregation requirements from the packing list. The Vessels laden speed shall be 13 knots, maximum length overall (LOA) not to exceed 1,000 ft. /305 m. and laden draft not to exceed 31.5ft/ 9.6m

  16. Place of Contract Performance: The place/range of delivery is Hiro, Kure City (Japan) and place/redelivery is Military Ocean Terminal Concord, CA (USA). The laydays commence/cancel 24 June – 10 July 2025. The period of performance will be about 33 days.

  17. Set-aside Status: Total Small Business Set-Aside. The decision to release this procurement as “Total Small Business Set-Aside” is based on responses received from a recent, sources sought notice for this service. MSC’s Deputy Associate Director of Small Business Programs concurred with this decision.
