Bid Description:
Work shall consist of providing tractor(s) with operator and mowing attachments to be used for mowing roadsides on the State highway systems (interstate and non-interstate) or other areas as identified by the District Transportation Administrator (DTA) and/or District General Manager. Mowers shall have the ability to operate on steep slopes and/or to mow on the back side of guardrail sections. Contractors may propose one or both types of mowers (regular and over the rail). Contractors must comply with applicable regulations governing mowing practices.
